Sara Silva
Born in Brazil, but raised in Portugal, I have a unique heritage that has made me a versatile and multifaceted person. With dual nationality, Portuguese and Canadian, I have an appreciation for different cultures and an open mind.
I currently work as a Trainer in the L&D team at Revolut. This position allows me to actively contribute to the professional growth of employees, providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to stand out in the world of fintech.
I also attend the master's degree in Costume Design at ESMAE and I attended the Postgraduate Course in Interior and Space Design at ESMAD, further expanding my creative and design skills.
Part-time I work as a Dresser and Head of Wardrobe at TMP. I am also CEO of the brand Onism By SS.
My journey began at Escola Artística Soares dos Reis, where I specialized in Costume Design. During my gap year between high school and college, I took a Level I Professional Makeup course and an English course, further expanding my skill set. For my degree, I chose to continue my studies at the ESMAE in the area of Costume Design.
While studying, I worked as a Room Assistant at TMP and also as an assistant basketball coach. My love of travel and exploration led me to embark on a 21-day train journey across Europe and another 1.5 year gap year that took me to India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Southeast Asia and Australia. During my travels, I volunteered on interior design projects and took on various jobs to immerse myself in different cultures.
In 2020 I returned to Portugal and created my own earrings brand, Onism by SS, creating unique earrings inspired by my travels. I started working in customer support and returned to my roots in the theater industry as Dresser at Teatro Municipal do Porto.
With a diverse background and a passion for personal growth and creativity, I'm excited to see what the future holds and continue to make my mark on the world.
